Tropical Smoothie Cafe Launches ‘Ohana Breeze Smoothie Inspired By Disney’s ‘Lilo & Stitch’

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is celebrating the release of Disney’s new live-action film, “Lilo & Stitch,” with the launch of a special new smoothie.

The ‘Ohana Breeze Smoothie, inspired by the beloved movie, is now on sale nationwide ahead of the movie’s May 23 release, and will be available for a limited time only. The smoothie features a vibrant blend of pineapple, mango, banana, orange juice, and blue spirulina, offering a naturally sweetened tropical flavor that captures the essence of island magic.

This marks the first-ever collaboration between Tropical Smoothie Cafe and a Disney feature film. The smoothie takes its name from the Hawaiian word ‘ohana, meaning family, a central theme in “Lilo & Stitch.” The movie’s message, “family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten,” is reflected in the smoothie’s two available sizes: 12 oz. for kids and 24 oz. for adults.

The Tropical Smoothie Cafe culinary team experimented with nearly 20 flavor combinations to create the perfect recipe and shade of blue for the smoothie, ensuring it is blended to perfection.

Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” opening in theaters on May 23, is a live-action reimagining of the 2002 animated classic. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the film stars Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, and Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance, Zach Galifianakis, and introducing Maia Kealoha.
