Tom Cruise ‘Hoping’ to ‘Talk Some Sense’ Into Brooklyn Beckham: ‘Knows How Painful’ ‘Family Fracture Can Be’ (Exclusive)

A source says the Mission: Impossible star, 63, is hoping to step in and be the hero by mediating a truce between Brooklyn Beckham and his estranged parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

“Tom’s been keeping a close eye on all of this and he feels terrible for David and Victoria and he wants to do whatever he can to help,” dishes the source. “He’s known Brooklyn since he was just very young and he’s always had a great rapport with him so he’s hoping that he can somehow talk some sense into him.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, Brooklyn, 27, accused David, 50, and Victoria, 52, of being controlling and putting “brand Beckham” first in a scathing Instagram Story posted on Monday, January 19. He also alleged that his parents “have been trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 31.

“Tom is very good at getting people to open up and genuinely believes he could get through to Brooklyn in a way others haven’t managed,” says the source. “With David’s permission, of course, he’d love to invite Brooklyn and Nicola over for a chat.”

Cruise is also hoping that by helping heal the Beckham family rift, he can also strengthen his friendship with his old pal David in the process, the Enquirer’s source reveals.

“Getting involved would naturally bring him closer to David again, which he’d love,” the source explains. “He insists they’re still on great terms, but he would love to take their bond up a notch and he’d also love to help. He knows how painful this kind of family fracture can be.”

The actor is famously estranged from his and Katie Holmes’ 19-year-old daughter Suri Cruise.

“If offering a part in one of his upcoming movies to Nicola could help get everyone back on speaking terms, he says he’s happy to do it,” shares the source. “Tom is great at getting what he wants and he’s not above using a bit of Hollywood charm to grease the wheels either.”
