Tiger Woods has found an unlikely source of support in the wake of his shocking DUI arrest.
A source tells the National Enquirer that ex-wife Elin Nordegren has dropped everything to be by the pro golfer’s side after he flipped his car in Jupiter Island, Florida on Friday, March 27.
“Despite everything he put her through, Elin will always love Tiger,” says the source. “She’s always maintained [that] he’s a great guy deep down even if he does have some major flaws.”
In 2009, the Enquirerbroke the news that Woods, 50, had an extramarital affair with nightclub manager Rachel Uchitel, prompting several more of the PGA champ’s alleged mistresses to come forward.

Woods and Nordegren, 46, would go on to divorce a year later but reportedly do a great job co-parenting daughter Sam, 18, and son Charlie, 17, per People.
“Right now, [Elin’s] checking in with him and offering a shoulder to cry on, taking over home-cooked meals and trying to reassure him that everything will be okay,” reveals the source. “She’s also keeping the kids calm and reminding everyone that Tiger needs care and compassion more than anything else.”
Adds the source, “He’s still the father of two of her kids.”
After splitting from Woods in 2010, Nordegren went on to find love with former NFL player Jordan Cameron, 37, with whom she shares three children, daughters Zeta and Freya and son Arthur.
The golf great has moved on, too: Last March, he went public with girlfriend Vanessa Trump.
“Jordan isn’t threatened at all,” the source says of Nordegren’s bond with Woods. “He’s very secure in their relationship and has learned to accept their friendship for what it is.”
