Vanessa Trump Is ‘the Closest Thing to a Soulmate’ Tiger Woods Has Ever Had: ‘She Grounds Him’

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump appear to be in it for the long haul.

The professional athlete, 49, revealed in March that he’s been dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, 47 — and since then, it’s “gotten really, really serious,” a source told the Daily Mail on Wednesday, December 10.

In fact, the source said the record-breaking golfer feels the former model “came into his life at just the right time” and pointed out that Woods’ career appears to be drastically winding down.

In February 2021, Woods was hospitalized after a serious car crash that resulted in multiple injuries. Months later, he indicated in a Gold Digest interview that playing full-time would no longer be possible.

The Daily Mail’s source said Vanessa “showed up as he was seriously considering what happens next in his career,” adding: “She has added so much stability on the home front, and he gushes about her influence in his life.”

“She’s going to be the one who’s with him during his transition away from the sport,” the source continued. “Whenever he misses the competition, he can talk to her; she grounds him and is just there for him to bounce things off of. She’s a true partner in every sense of the word.”

It was reported in March that Woods and Vanessa had been dating for several months. The pro athlete then confirmed their relationship on March 23 with two Instagram pictures of the pair, including one of Trump resting her head on his chest.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” the father of two captioned the post. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

The Daily Mail’s source said Woods — who was previously married to Swedish model Elin Nordegren before the National Enquirer broke the news of his infidelity — went into the relationship with Trump “with his eye on something long-term.”

“Of everyone he’s dated since Elin, I’d say Vanessa is the closest thing to a soulmate he’s ever had,” said the source. “It’s a much more mature relationship than anything he’s been in before.”
