Sydney Sweeney has become a target in Hollywood for those who are desperate to see her fail — but she’s brushing it all aside and smiling as she watches the money pile up.
“Sydney’s getting a ridiculous amount of hate right now and some of it’s coming from major names,” an insider exclusively tells the National Enquirer. However, “she’s not about to give anyone the satisfaction of seeing her rattled.”
“It’s no secret Kim Kardashiansees green around her, which does bother Sydney because she has no intention of bringing that out in other women,” the insider continues. “But she’s driven [and] if people want to hate on her because she’s doing well, so be it.”
According to the insider, the Euphoria star, 27, has also set her eyes on a “music career” and that’s “ruffled a lot of feathers, including Jennifer Lopez’s” — something that’s shocking to Sweeney.

“She totally loves her and grew up listening to her music, so she’s pretty much blown away that she’d be seeing her as any sort of competition,” the insider explains. “It just proves to her that she’s on the right path and she’s not taking her foot off the break.”
“Plenty of people in the industry are cool with her and supportive,” the insider adds. “In her view those that don’t like her, are none of her business.”
As the National Enquirer previously reported, Sweeney has been at the center of backlash due to her recent American Eagle campaign.

“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue,” the White Lotus alum tells the camera in the ad, before a voiceover declares, “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”
Several people found the commercial to be tone-deaf, with some arguing that it promoted eugenics.
To make matters worse, her movie Americana, which premiered on August 15, flopped at the box office. The film landed in 16th place at the box office.
