Sydney Sweeney Getting ‘All the Attention’ at Bezos Wedding Was ‘Huge Blow’ to Kim Kardashian’s Ego

Sydney Sweeney turned heads at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish Venice wedding last month, and according to a source, Kim Kardashian was left feeling nervous that her days of being surrounded by some of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood could be nearing their end.

“Kim won’t say it outright, but seeing Sydney get all the attention in Venice was a huge blow to her ego,” a source tells the National Enquirer.

The Kardashians star, 44, was said to be especially hopeful because she knew that retired NFL player Tom Brady was also invited to the upscale event and “she’s still got a huge crush on him.” However, the divorcé – who split from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen in October 2022 – ended up paying “way more attention to Sydney and she ended up feeling nearly invisible,” the source explains.

Kardashian – who was married to controversial rapper Kanye West from 2014 and 2022 – didn’t blame the Euphoria alum, 27, for the situation, the source notes, adding that the reality star thinks that she’s “gorgeous and talented.”

“It’s more that Kim’s realizing she’s not the ‘it’ girl anymore, and that’s triggered all her worst insecurities,” continues the source. “She’s been single for so long, it’s really starting to mess with her confidence. She still looks incredible, but she’s in her 40s, has four kids, and she worries it’s too much baggage to get the kind of man she wants.”

“She can’t help but worry that she might never find love again and a big part of her blames Kanye for that,” the source concludes.

This comes after an insider spilled to the Daily Mail that Sweeney, who split from ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino earlier this year, was the “most sought after person” at the Bezos wedding.

“Everyone wants to talk to her,” the insider spilled, “and every guy that has been in her presence has talked about how stunning she is in real life.”

She even sparked dating rumors with Brady, 47, after she was seen hitting the dance floor with him at one of the Bezos’ late-night parties. Although another source suggested the football star “danced with everyone” there – not just Sweeney – TMZ also reported that he was “chatting up” the White Lotus alum at a hotel bar during the wedding festivities.
