Elizabeth Hurley is madly in love with boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus, but she’s growing frustrated by his reclusive, shut-in tendencies, reveals a source, who says it’s threatening to become a major issue in their relationship.

“Liz is a lot more of a social butterfly than Billy Ray is ever going to be,” the source explains. “He just doesn’t find going out to dinner or spending time with other couples to be fun, and he hates getting recognized in public whereas Liz can’t get enough of that .”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, the Bedazzled actress, 60, and the country crooner, 64, are polar opposites.

“Liz craves jet-set soirees in London and Paris while Billy Ray wants nothing more than to strum his guitar in Nashville with his dogs,” a pal shared back in September. “Their worlds don’t match.”

Hurley is trying to adapt to Cyrus’ “hermit-like” way of living, Enquirer’s source notes.

“Liz has become a lot more of a shut-in since they got together and she’s adjusting to Billy’s lifestyle of TV-watching, ordering food to be delivered and communicating mostly through e-mails instead of in-person,” says the source.

The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer has even been teaching her how to play guitar, she revealed in an August 15 Instagram post.

“Billy Ray has no problem turning on the charisma when he’s in the recording studio or stepping out on stage but he treasures his […] alone time way more than a lot of stars do,” admits the source. “Clearly, Liz wants this relationship to last if she’s willing to make these kinds of changes.”
