Dogs are officially joining in on falls favorite ritual, thanks to a new limited-edition Pumpkin Spice Latte unveiled by The Honest Kitchen.
The San Diego-based brand founded in 2002 by Lucy Postins, known as the pioneer of human-grade pet food, has introduced the seasonal treat just in time for National Dog Month — and its made entirely from ingredients fit for human consumption.
The festive blend is crafted from just five ingredients: goats milk, pumpkin, honey, cinnamon, and ginger. Free from fillers and artificial additives, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is designed to be served on its own as a liquid treat, used as a pour-over, or mixed into meals — offering pet parents a way to incorporate seasonal flavor into their dogs daily routine without compromising nutrition or quality.
“Pets are part of the family, and we believe they should be included in the moments that make each season special,” said Miki Dosen, Chief Marketing Officer at The Honest Kitchen. “Humans look forward to their first pumpkin spice latte every fall — and this launch is our way of letting dogs in on that cherished ritual, made with the same care and quality we expect for ourselves.”
To celebrate the launch, The Honest Kitchen partnered with Graduate by Hilton for a dog-friendly pop-up event on Aug. 19 at the Poindexter Coffee location in Seattle. The event featured interactive stations, fall-themed photo ops, and free samples of the Pumpkin Spice Latte treat. It also marked the start of a weeklong sampling initiative across several Graduate by Hilton Poindexter Coffee locations in Tucson, Cincinnati, Annapolis, and Berkeley, through Aug. 26.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte for dogs is now available nationwide at PetSmart stores, on thehonestkitchen.com, and at select neighborhood pet retailers including Pet Food Express, Centinela Feed, Kahoots, and Chuck & Don’s.
