Lucy Hale had fans doing a double take on Wednesday, February 11, when she dropped an Instagram post that proved once again she understands the power of a black dress.

The Pretty Little Liars alum, 36, kept things chic with a fitted black halter gown that hugged her frame beautifully while the neckline featured a bold sculpted cutout at the center, creating a sharp, modern silhouette.

The structured bodice flowed into a clean, streamlined skirt that skimmed her figure, letting the dramatic neckline take center stage.

Hale styled the look with delicate sparkling choker-style necklace, a matching bracelet, and small hoop earrings that added just enough shine.

Her glossy brunette hair was parted to the side and styled smooth with soft volume at the ends, framing her face and highlighting her glowing makeup.
