Police in Alabama nabbed four women who allegedly filled their arms with 107 items from a local Target and walked out of the store with the whole payload.
According to a Tuesday, October 13, report from ABC affiliate WSB-TV, Target employees noticed three women allegedly shoplifting from the store and called 911.
Before police arrived, the trio loaded armfuls of merchandise they allegedly didn’t pay for into a car that was driven off by a fourth woman. When officers arrived at the store, the loss prevention manager brought them up to speed and described the getaway vehicle.
Fox 5 reported that the vehicle was spotted and pulled over by police on Interstate 85 mere minutes after their daring getaway from the Target. All four women were taken into custody as officers began searching the vehicle. Inside, they reportedly recovered some 107 items totalling a little more than $1,800.

The outlet reported the haul included 42 articles of clothing, 46 health and beauty supply products, 18 laundry and cleaning products, 10 home supply items and one office supply item.
A trash bag full of other items was also brought back to the Target, but the manager there confirmed that the items inside that trash bag did not come from their store. Police have not yet confirmed whether they have deemed those items stolen from another business or not.
The women were identified as Sanbracia Marianna Johnson, 28; Anecia Tashae Cammon, 26; Latavia Traviona Smith, 21; and Tranecia Deaisha Smith, 23, according to the Newnan Times-Herald. All four women were charged with felony shoplifting.
It is unclear if they have yet entered a plea or retained legal representation to speak on their behalf.
