Olivia Nuzzi is opening up about her alleged affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in her bombshell new memoir – and she’s bringing receipts.

Nuzzi, the 32-year-old former New York Magazine reporter who went viral last year after her controversial digital relationship with the former presidential candidate came to light, is planning on including “sexually charged text messages” between her and RFK Jr., a source reveals to Page Six.

The book, reportedly titled American Canto, could make it difficult for RFK Jr., 71, to maintain his new role as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services once it hits shelves, according to the insider.

RFK Jr. has been married to Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines for 10 years, and Nuzzi’s memoir could also strain that relationship.

Nuzzi’s alleged “sextual” affair began after she profiled RFK Jr. in November 2023 for New York Magazine. RFK Jr. is the son of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy.

In addition to her involvement with RFK Jr., Nuzzi is reportedly including details about fellow political journalist Ryan Lizza and President Donald Trump, drawing from her decade of covering his administration, Page Six reports.

Nuzzi and New York Magazine parted ways in October 2024. The journalist has stated that her relationship with RFK Jr. was not physical.

“The relationship was never physical but should have been disclosed to prevent the appearance of a conflict. I deeply regret not doing so immediately and apologize to those I’ve disappointed, especially my colleagues at New York,” Nuzzi said in a statement.

“Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece,” a spokesperson for Kennedy Jr. previously said.

News of Nuzzi’s memoir has largely been kept under wraps. Page Six reports that Simon & Schuster has gone to great lengths to prevent public awareness — there is not yet an Amazon page with the book’s title or author. However, a hidden page on the site lists a book under “To Be Announced AC” with a possible publication date of December 2.

Meanwhile, Hines has a book of her own coming out on November 11 titled Unscripted.
