Kim Kardashian was praying for a miracle.

After the Skims founder, 45, revealed on the Thursday, November 13, episode of The Kardashians that she was unable to obtain the Bible late father Robert Kardashian Sr. signed and gave to O.J. Simpson, the executor of the football star’s estate is speaking out.

“I like how she’s trying to frame the story as I’m trying to keep it from her,” executor Malcolm LaVergne told TMZ in a story published Friday, November 14.

He then took a swipe at the mom of four, who recently revealed that she failed the bar exam to practice law.

“No wonder she can’t pass the bar,” LaVergne said. “By the way, I’ve passed three. First time each. New York, Texas and Nevada. I will give her credit for being richer than me. No denying that.”

LaVergne told TMZ that the estate of the late NFL star — who was represented by Robert in the 1995 murder trial for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman — was under legal obligation to auction off the Bible and couldn’t sell to private vendors.

On the recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kim said she wanted to get the Bible — which was being auctioned off by Goldin Auctions — to give to sister Khloé Kardashian.

“So there is a bible that my dad gave O.J. after the murders happened, but before he went into prison, and he brought it to prison with him,” Kim shared in her confessional.

“It’s just really special, you know, Khloé saw it on the internet and then sent it to me and was like, ‘Oh my god, this bible is going for auction, we have to get it,’” she continued. “So I was like, ‘Oh, I have to get this for her for her birthday.’”

“I offered $15,000 for the bible, but that wasn’t high enough for him,” Kim noted.

At the end of the episode, text came up on the screen that read: “The executor to O.J. Simpson’s estate told TMZ he could not sell the bible to Kim because he already contractually agreed to auction it under court order.”

According to Goldin Auctions’ website, the winning bid was placed in March for $65,800 ($80,276 with its buyer’s premium). The buyer’s identity remains anonymous.
