Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance May Have Been an ‘Inside Job,’ Abductor ‘Knew Intimate Details’ About Her Home

As the search for Nancy Guthrie continues, a source exclusively tells the National Enquirer that signs point to her disappearance being an “inside job.”

“The cameras that were smashed inside the home were there to protect their mother,” the source reveals. “Only a very few people have access to them, they were installed to make sure nothing happened to their mom, like if she fell when home alone.”

Nancy appeared to have a doorbell security camera, which was allegedly removed by her abductors, according to video showing blood on her front porch. The source tells the Enquirer that there were more cameras set up inside her home.

“Whoever this possible abductor is, they went inside the house and knew where those cameras were pointing,” the source notes. “They were able to smash the cameras before their motion was visible in the recordings or streams. To do this, it takes a chilling level of intel.”

The 84-year-old was last seen Saturday, January 31, as her daughter, Annie Guthrie, and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni dropped her off at home after a family dinner. She was reported missing around noon the following day when friends noticed she was absent from her regular church service.

Authorities revealed on Wednesday that there were still no suspects or persons of interest in the case.

“This possible abductor not only knew intimate details inside the home but had to plan it meticulously so that they wouldn’t be caught on the cameras breaking them,” the source explains.

Nancy’s children, Annie, Savannah Guthrie, and Camron Guthrie, released a statement on Wednesday evening pleading with the alleged captors for proof that their mother is still alive.
