Miami Woman Tosses a Bucket of Her Own Feces on Neighbor in Dispute Over Alleged Affair

A woman in Miami is accused of throwing a bucket of her own excrement on her neighbor because she believed the woman was sleeping with her husband.

Yirsi Machado Rivera was arrested on charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and battery, according to NBC Miami, which viewed an arrest report of the incident. Machado Rivera, 50, lives in a separate portion of a split trailer. She is accused by the alleged victim of banging on the door on Monday, September 7, and accusing the neighbor of having a sexual relationship with her husband. Things escalated when Machado Rivera allegedly forced her way into the trailer and threw a bucket of her feces on the alleged victim before leaving.

When police arrived, Machado Rivera claimed she was simply trying to get rid of a bucket of “caca” that she was using because her toilet was broken. She reportedly denied entering the neighbor’s home. She did, however, admit to being in a dispute with the neighbor, but claimed it was over the smell of the bucket. Machado Rivera accused the neighbor of hitting her over the head with a bat.

According to court records viewed by Law & Crime, police disputed Machado Rivera’s account.

“The defendant stated to the witness that she pooped in a bucket to throw in the victim’s face,” a note on the charging document reportedly reads.

On Tuesday, Miami-Dade Bond Court Judge Mindy Glazer granted a request by the prosecution to hold Machado Rivera in pretrial detention. So far, no plea has been made.
