Lenny Kravitz ‘Thrilled’ Daughter Zoe Is Dating Harry Styles Following Her Split From Channing Tatum

Zoë Kravitz is fighting off A-list suitors, but only one — Harry Styles — is getting the thumbs-up from her dad, Lenny Kravitz.

Zoë, 36, and Harry, 31, were spotted at a London restaurant while she was in town for an Aug. 19 promotional event for her newest film, Caught Stealing.

Then after the film’s Aug. 21 premiere in Paris, insiders saw her getting cozy with costar Austin Butler at a bar. The following weekend, the Blink Twice director reunited with Harry in Rome, where they were seen strolling arm in arm, according to People.

While his daughter may be playing the field, dad Lenny, 61, definitely has a favorite — he’s reportedly encouraging her to pursue a relationship with the “Watermelon Sugar” heartthrob, saying he’s ideal boyfriend material and a huge upgrade on other would-be suitors, including Austin.

“Lenny tries not to meddle in Zoë’s business, but she’s his only child so he does feel protective. And it’s been hard watching her lurch from one failed romance to another,” says an insider, referring to her brief marriage to Karl Glusman and her broken engagement to Channing Tatum.

“So he’s thrilled she’s hooked up with Harry, who he believes to be one of the biggest talents of his generation. He’s telling Zoë she’s got herself one hell of a catch,” the source says.

For Harry, “it means a lot to get Lenny’s blessing. He considers the guy an idol and has a ton of respect for him as a person as well as a music legend.”

According to our insider, “Having Lenny on board is a big deal for any guy who dates Zoë. They don’t tend to stick around if he gives the thumbs-down. So this is a very good sign she and Harry have what it takes to go the distance.”
