Former Department of Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem has broken her silence following reports that her husband, Bryon Noem, is living a double life as a cross-dresser.
“Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” a rep for Noem, 54, told the New York Post on Tuesday, March 31.
The fired DHS official’s statement was shared hours after the Daily Mailreported that Bryon was communicating with women from the “bimbofication” scene, including about his marriage to Kristi.
“If a media organization can find this out, you can assume with a high degree of confidence that a hostile intelligence service knows this as well,” former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos told the outlet about the potential security risk caused by Bryon’s fetish.
According to the Daily Mail, Bryon sent “at least $25,000 via Cash App and PayPal” to his online pals. The father of three — who shares daughters Kassidy, 31, and Kennedy, 29, and son Booker, 23, with his wife — also shared compromising selfies showing him in tight shorts and crop tops with balloons stuffed underneath to mimic breasts with his internet acquaintances.

“Damaging information like this can be a tantalizing lead for a hostile intelligence service,” former CIA agent Polymeropoulos said. “They approach the person and say, if you work with us we won’t expose this, and if you don’t, we will. That’s espionage 101.”
As the National Enquirer previously reported, Kristi was replaced as secretary of Homeland Security by President Donald Trump earlier this month. MarkwayneMullin was sworn in as her replacement on March 24.
