Kelly Osbourne Is ‘Still Dealing With a Lot of Grief’ After Death of Dad Ozzy Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne’s frail appearance at the Brit Awards over the weekend shocked the public, and a source claimed that the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025 has taken its toll on her.

“Sharon seems in a much better place. But it’s clear Kelly is still dealing with a lot of grief,” a source told the Daily Mail in an article published on Monday, March 2.

Another source told the publication, “Kelly used to be the loudest person in the room, always giving her opinion, but now she’s very shy and comes across anxious, you can see she’s just holding herself together.”

Kelly, 42, wore a floor-length black gown at the event on Saturday, February 28, alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne. Photos from the event quickly went viral and many people online criticized Kelly’s appearance.

She later addressed the cruel remarks herself.

“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” Kelly wrote in a statement she shared via her Instagram Story on Sunday, March 1. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.”

The mom of one — who shares son Sidney, 3, with fiancée Sid Wilson — added that the hurtful words only revealed “a profound absence of compassion and character.”

“I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself,” Kelly continued. “But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!”
