Katie Couric was seemingly left unimpressed after watching a clip from Melania Trump’s self-titled documentary.
“Riveting,” Couric, 69, wrote on Thursday, March 19, in response to the video someone shared on Threads.
In the clip, Trump, 55, was seen singing along to Michael Jackson’s song “Billie Jean” while riding in her motorcade.
While the former CBS Evening News anchor’s reply could have been a compliment, most seemed to think she was being sarcastic.
“When Katie Couric’s single word comment has more likes than the original post,” one person wrote in reply.
Another added, “Wish we had a sarcasm font,” while a third person chimed in and said, “This is what makes you a legend only took you one word to annihilate.”

Amazon MGM Studios reportedly acquired the rights to Melania for $40 million and spent an additional $35 million on marketing the documentary.
The project was directed by Brett Ratner, a former blockbuster filmmaker who was largely pushed out of Hollywood after multiple sexual assault allegations surfaced in 2017, which he has denied.
“I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible,” the Apprentice alum, 79, told reporters on January 11. “She did a book, and the book was a big number one best seller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention. It’s very good.”
Despite poor reviews, Melania had a strong opening weekend when it premiered on January 30. According to the New York Times, the documentary raked in $7 million between the United States and Canada.
