Fans of First Lady Melania Trump were at the movie theaters this weekend.

Melania, the documentary film produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Brett Ratner about President Donald Trump’s wife, 55, took in $7 million in the United States and Canada during its opening weekend, the New York Times reported.

According to the publication, the film — which hit theaters Friday, January 30 — had the best opening weekend for a documentary, excluding concert films, in 14 years. In 2012, the nature doc Chimpanzee took in $10.7 million at the time, per NYT.

Despite the relatively high numbers for a documentary, the publication reported that Amazon (who spent $75 million for distribution rights) will come out of the weekend with approximately $3.5 million.

Amazon did not provide an estimate for international ticket sales, but box-office analysts said sales were poor.

As the National Enquirer reported, the film was abruptly pulled from theaters in South Africa ahead of its release.

The film also received mostly poor reviews from critics, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 10 percent as of Monday, February 2.

The first lady and her husband, 79, attended the January 29 premiere at the Trump Kennedy Center ahead of news that the president plans to shut down the historic venue for two years.

“History is set in motion during the 20 days of my life prior to the U.S. Presidential Inauguration,” Melania previously told Fox News Digital of the film prior to its release.

“For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold — a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming first lady of the United States of America,” she added.

In the film’s trailer, Melania is seen at her husband’s swearing-in ceremony, where she looks at the camera and says, “Here we go again.”
