Jimmy Kimmel is ready to put his talents to the test against President Donald Trump.
On the Monday, December 8, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night TV host, 58, talked about how Trump, 79, had hosted the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday, December 7, and repeatedly told reporters he wanted to do a better job than the comedian.
The TV personality — who has never actually hosted the Kennedy Center Honors — first played a clip of the commander-in-chief revealing what he did to prepare, and, of course, criticizing Kimmel.

“Maybe I haven’t prepared. Maybe you want to be a little bit loose. If you look at the great hosts Johnny Carson, Bob Hope, those are the greats,” Trump remarked. “You look at the not so greats like Jimmy Kimmel, he was just terrible.”
In a second clip, Trump slammed Kimmel’s talent.
“I’ve watched some of the people that host, Jimmy Kimmel was horrible,” he stated. “If I can’t beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don’t think I should be president.”
However, the billionaire’s remarks seemingly sparked some competitive energy in Kimmel, who jokingly declared they should really see who has more talent.

“Do you think he even knows I never hosted the Kennedy Center Honors? Maybe he’s confusing me with Queen Latifah,” Kimmel quipped. “As far as this ‘who has more talent’ thing goes, it seems like he’s challenging me to a contest, which if so, I’m open to it. Let’s do it. Let’s have a talent competition.”
“I’ll come out, I’ll tell a few jokes, I’ll draw something, I’ll play my clarinet,” Kimmel said of his talents. “He can play golf, spank a porn star, and ruin a country.”
