Jessica McClure Morales is speaking out mere days after her recent arrest.
The 40-year-old — known worldwide as “Baby Jessica” after her dramatic 1987 rescue from a Texas well — shared a reflective message on Facebook following her domestic assault arrest over the weekend.
“Note to self: Happiness is letting go of what you assume your life is supposed to be like right now, and sincerely appreciating it for everything that it is,” she wrote in the Monday, April 14 post.
“So, relax. Reset. You are enough. You have enough. You do enough. Breathe deep. Let go, and just live right now,” she added.
McClure Morales did not reference the events leading up to her arrest directly, and it remains unclear if the message was tied to her arrest or her personal life.
As National Enquirer previously reported, she was taken into custody on April 12 after a reported disturbance at her Midland, Texas home, and later released after posting bond.
The update comes nearly four decades after her widely watched rescue, which captivated the nation and turned her into a symbol of survival.
