Olivia Wilde has scored a huge win getting Jennifer Aniston on board for her next movie — and a source tells the National Enquirer she’s being quietly welcomed into her social circle, too.
“Jen and Olivia’s movie Naughty has come together at a record pace and will film this winter,” the source says of the holiday comedy. “It’s one of the quickest movie green-lights Jen has ever experienced, and that all comes down to the heat Olivia is enjoying as a filmmaker due to her hit, The Invite.”
Directed and starring Wilde, the indie dinner party comedy has made $40 million worldwide, per Variety.
“It’s huge for Jen to get invited onto a project like this, where she isn’t one of the main producers or backers, and it allows Jen to focus strictly on her performance and being a true movie star,” continues the source. “That alone has won Olivia a lifetime membership in Team Aniston, with all the Cabo trips and Sunday night dinners in Bel-Air that she can handle.”

“Olivia is ambitious and she’s from a well-off family,” the source notes. “But this is still a very exclusive club to get to join, and they don’t welcome in outsiders very often. This all feels like the start of something very big, especially if Olivia can deliver a bona-fide hit for Jen in movie theaters.”
In July, it was announced that Aniston’s Apple TV series The Morning Show will be ending.
“Having Olivia at the helm — and around the fire pit for one of Jen’s famous dinner parties — is exactly the shot in the arm Jen needed now that she’s getting ready to say goodbye,” adds the source.
