One person was injured when a Jeep crashed into a Florida duplex, causing a partial collapse, officials said.

Marion County Fire Rescue said crews were dispatched shortly before 12:30 p.m. Saturday after multiple 911 callers reported a vehicle had crashed into a single-story duplex in Ocklawaha, triggering a partial structural collapse.

Crews arrived at the scene on the 11000 block of Southeast 189th Court to find a silver Jeep Compass SUV had struck the building, and came to a rest mostly inside the structure. Photos shared by the fire department show the Jeep lodged inside the building, surrounded by debris and a collapsed wall.

One patient was assessed by firefighters at the scene and transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The fire department did not say whether the patient had been in the vehicle or the structure, and did not specify the nature of their injuries.

The duplex was evacuated while crews assessed the structural damage. No one was trapped inside the building, and all occupants were accounted for.

The fire department said the crash is being investigated by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
