JD Vance’s Mother Says She’d ‘Probably Punch’ Abdul El-Sayed If She Saw Him After His Digs at the VP

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed better watch his back if he sees Vice President JD Vance‘s mother out and about.

During the Wednesday, September 2, episode of the Tomi Lahren Is Fearless podcast, Beverly Vance Aikins stuck up for her son when host Tomi Lahren asked her thoughts on El-Sayed’s recent digs at JD and his wife, Usha Vance.

Lahren, 34, said that the Democratic politician, 41, “keeps talking about your family” and pointed out his comments about the Vances having “brown kids” (despite JD’s history of “hating people who are different,” El-Sayed said).

In response, Beverly said, “I think that man’s an idiot.”

“Those are my babies,” she said, referring to JD and Usha’s four children. “I love those babies and would do anything for any of them. And I love Usha as if she were my own daughter. She’s one of the best, most genuine people I’ve ever met, and she loves my son, and she’s a good mother.”

Lahren brought up other recent comments made by El-Sayed, who questioned what JD’s grandfather — whom the vice president, 42, refers to as “Papaw” — would have thought of Usha, 40.

“Why do people want to take shots at your family that way?” Lahren asked Beverly, to which she replied: “I think they’re jealous, honestly.”

“JD’s 42 years old,” she continued. “He’s handsome. He’s the vice president of the United States. He’s got a beautiful wife, four beautiful children, and jealousy is the only thing I can think of. He can take all the shots he wants. It’s going to get no merit from any of us.”

Still, the remarks make Beverly “mad,” she said, “because he doesn’t know JD, and he doesn’t know what type of person he is, and I do.”

“But in the long run there, I’m not going to do anything about it,” she said. “I’d probably punch the guy if I ever seen him, and then that would get me in trouble. So, I’ll just go with the flow.”

JD recently called out El-Sayed during a recent rally outside Detroit.

“There’s something about Abdul El-Sayed that is very, very evil and on the rise in the United States of America today,” Vance said, calling him “a man who has sympathy and compassion for people who share his religion” but “nothing for people who don’t.”
