Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly “deferred” several questions to her husband, former President Bill Clinton, during her deposition as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

“Yesterday, Ms. Clinton deferred a lot of questions to her husband today,” Congressman James Comer said at a live press conference ahead of Bill’s deposition on Friday, February 27. “There were at least a dozen times when she said, ‘You’ll have to ask my husband that. I can’t answer that.’”

Comer, 53, added that the House Oversight Committee “already had a big portfolio of questions” for the former president, but that number “had increased yesterday.”

He went on to say that Hillary, 78, “confirmed” that Bill, 79, had “Jeffrey Epstein in the White House 17 times” while he served as president and that Bill had “flown on Jeffrey’s plane at least 27 times.”

When a reporter asked what the former secretary’s reaction was to being asked about photos of “her husband in the Epstein files,” Comer handed the podium over to Representative Nancy Mace.

“She didn’t want to answer any questions about any of that and deferred most of those, if not all, of those questions to her husband” Mace, 48, said. “He will be thoroughly asked about that today.”

She continued, “I asked her a very pointed question, and you’ll see that in the transcript of the video that comes out and you’ll see how she responded as well – screaming.”

Just before the group headed inside, another reporter asked for clarification regarding Mace’s comment saying Hillary was “screaming,” and she replied, “She was unhinged, and I hope that President Clinton is less unhinged today than his wife was yesterday.”

Both Hillary and Bill’s depositions are part of a House Oversight probe examining Epstein’s ties to high-profile individuals and how he maintained relationships with powerful figures for years before his arrest.

Investigators are seeking details about Bill’s past interactions with Epstein and what, if anything, Hillary knew about them.
