I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I first got the Gyroor C1Plus. A seated electric scooter with baskets feels like it could go one of two ways – either surprisingly practical or painfully gimmicky.
Thankfully, this one lands much closer to the first.
The biggest win here is comfort. The seat completely changes the experience. Instead of bracing your legs the entire ride like you would on a traditional scooter, you can actually relax. It makes short trips feel effortless, whether you’re cruising around the neighborhood or running quick errands. Add in the front and rear baskets and suddenly it feels more useful than most scooters in its price range.
That said, this isn’t a performance machine. You aren’t getting speed or power that’s going to really impress anyone. If you’re expecting something sleek and fast, this is not that ride. It’s bulkier than a standard scooter and not something you can casually carry up a flight of stairs.
However, here’s where it wins. For the price, it makes sense. It’s easy to use, comfortable and genuinely practical in a way most scooters aren’t. It feels more like something you’ll actually use on a regular basis rather than a toy taking up space in your garage.
The bottom line is simple. If you want speed and performance, look elsewhere. If you want a laid back, low effort way to get around that can carry your stuff and not break the bank, the Gyroor C1Plus gets the job done.
And honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what we need.
