Fast and furious former child star Frankie Muniz is best known for being Malcolm in the Middle, but now he wants to be number one — on the NASCAR circuit!
The 38-year-old was recently signed by the Reaume Brothers racing team to compete full-time on NASCAR’s Truck Series circuit. Frankie hopes a winning showing will help his goal of competing in NASCAR’s big league Cup Series.
The Agent Cody Banks star has only occasionally taken acting gigs in recent years to concentrate on racing, the source spills.
“He’s paying his dues and working up the ladder of NASCAR,” an insider dishes. “He knows he’s getting a late start because of his acting career, but he feels this is his job now and he wants to climb to NASCAR’s highest level.
“He would rather be in the winner’s circle than see himself on a TV or film screen now!”
