Jay Cutler was sacked by cops for drunk driving in Tennessee — and now the former Pro Bowl quarterback will spend four days behind bars for the legal fumble, authorities say.
Cutler, 42, ex-husband of Laguna Beach beauty Kristin Cavallari, cut a deal with lawmen and pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI — and Williamson County prosecutors dismissed a weapon possession charge he also faced after the retired jock forfeited the gun in question.
The football superstar — who shares daughter Saylor, 9, and sons Jaxon, 11, and Camden, 13, with Cavallari — was arrested in October 2024 after a rear-end collision with another vehicle in Franklin, Tenn, per People.

Lawmen say the ex-pigskin pro reeked of booze, slurred his words and appeared blitzed with bloodshot eyes — yet refused a field sobriety test. Cops also say a loaded handgun was found in Cutler’s car.
In addition to the slap-on-the-wrist sentence, the longtime Chicago Bear — who earned over $100 million on the field — was ordered to pay a paltry $350 fine and attend a DUI safety class. He’s also required to be on supervised probation for one year — the same amount of time that his Tennessee driver’s license will be revoked.

Shortly after Cutler’s arrest, Cavallari said on an episode of her podcast Let’s Be Honest that she wished her baby daddy “nothing but the best.”
The reality babe began dating the ex-jock around 2010, and the pair got hitched in 2013. The reality show Very Cavallari, which ran on E! from 2018 to 2020, focused on her life with Cutler in Nashville — and their unraveling marriage. The former flames officially split in April 2020 — but didn’t finalize their divorce until June 2022.
Cutler is now engaged to Samantha Robertson, who shares two kids with her Edison actor ex, Trace Ayala.
