A Florida man was arrested and is facing charges for allegedly dumping a backpack full of his urine, feces and other contents onto his ex-girlfriend.
Daniel Niemiec, 20, was arrested and charged with battery by strangulation and two counts of domestic violence battery stemming from a series of alleged incidents that culminated on Wednesday, July 1, according to a probable cause arrest affidavit viewed by Law & Crime.
The Coral Springs police began investigating him after the victim’s stepbrother reportedly sent an email to the department reporting an assault. Allegedly, after breaking up with him, Niemiec’s ex came to his place with a friend to pick up her things. She reports that he dumped the contents of her backpack out onto her after he had defecated and urinated into the bag. He also covered the items with hot sauce, ketchup and other unknown fluids.

The woman reportedly was shaking uncontrollably while recalling the incident to police.
The outlet reports that Niemiec allegedly admitted to defecating and urinating in the bag, but said he threw the backpack at the victim and, “could not recall whether the items landed on her.” He said he did it all as “payback” because he believes his now-ex-girlfriend cheated on him.
Per the Miami Herald, Niemiec admitted to strangling the victim the night before the backpack incident after an argument got out of hand. He would later tell police that he has anger issues and “sometimes cannot control it.” According to the affidavit viewed by Law & Crime, the victim also alleged that he previously slapped her during consensual sex but did not stop after she asked him to, causing injuries to her face. Niemiec claims he did not hear her when she told him to stop.
Niemiec posted a $4,000 bond and was released from Broward County Jail. His court date and information about whether he’s hired an attorney is not known at this time.
