The FBI is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a bank robbery that took place in Virginia in April.
The FBI Richmond field office said the suspect entered the First Bank location at 701 Virginia Avenue in Clarksville at around 9:36 a.m. on April 22, wearing a surgical mask and hoodie.
The unidentified man approached a teller and demanded money. The suspect did not present a weapon, but the teller reported seeing a bulge in the suspect’s pocket and believed it was a firearm.
The teller complied with the demand and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money before he fled on foot toward the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or location is asked to contact their nearest FBI field office or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
