Erika Kirk does not want an apology from Jimmy Kimmel for the sake of an apology.
On Monday, November 3, a preview clip was released from Erika’s upcoming interview with Fox News anchor Jesse Watters, set to air on the network on Wednesday, November 5. In the clip, Watters, 47, asked the former Miss Arizona, “What would you say to Jimmy Kimmel?”
“Same thing I told Sinclair [broadcast group]. They asked. I haven’t really told anybody this,” Erika, 36, confessed. “They asked, ‘Do you want Jimmy to give you an apology? Do you want to be on his show? How can we make it right?'”
“Through our team, I responded, I told them thank you, we received their note. This is not our issue. It’s not our mess,” she explained. “If you wanna say I’m sorry to someone who’s grieving, go right ahead. But if that’s not in your heart, then don’t do it. I don’t want it. I don’t need it.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, the 57-year-old comedian’s late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! was shortly suspended after comments he made regarding the death of Erika’s late husband, Charlie Kirk. The Turning Point USA founder was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, September 10.
“The MAGA Gang [is] desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel stated during the Monday, September 15 episode. “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”
However, before that, Kimmel made an emotional statement on Instagram regarding Charlie’s death.
“Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human?” Kimmel wrote. “On behalf of my family, we send love to the Kirks and to all the children, parents, and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence.”
