Cher’s daughter-in-law is accusing the musical legend and her son of refusing access to her worldly possessions.
On Wednesday, November 19, Elijah Blue Allman’s estranged wife, Marieangela King, filed a motion, obtained by the National Enquirer, claiming that her “belongings and the furniture from the marital home were packed and moved without my presence, input, or knowledge of where anything was taken.”
The items were later placed in storage units belonging to Allman and his mother, King wrote.
“For years, I have repeatedly asked [Allman] for access to my belongings,” she alleged. “Each time, he has either ignored my requests or redirected me to his mother’s personal assistant, Deb Paull, insisting that ‘Deb handles everything.’“
King claimed that Paull, along with another of Cher’s assistants, routinely managed “household logistics” for Allman.
“I am deeply concerned that the contents of the storage units could be lost, auctioned, or otherwise disposed of without my knowledge,” she added, noting that some items were of “financial and emotional value that cannot be replaced. The secrecy surrounding these units and the continued denial of access leave me with no choice but to seek immediate court intervention.”

King also can’t separate their cell phone accounts, she wrote, and has had to pay for Allman’s phone as well to keep hers working.
“The continued instability and forced dependence on Respondent for something as essential as a phone line is harmful, inappropriate, and unsustainable,” she claimed in the court documents.
As the Enquirer has previously reported, Allman’s dealings with King since their split after 13 years has been “a big test of Cher’s resolve,” according to a source.
