Drug Dealer Accused of Giving Out Loyalty Punch Cards to Customers and Illegally Residing in the US
After an alleged drug dealer in Minnesota was arrested, police say they discovered he was handing out loyalty punch cards to his regular customers to keep them coming back for more.
Andi Selencia was arrested on Tuesday, September 8, on multiple charges related to drug possession as well as a firearm possession charge following an investigation into his alleged drug sales activity by the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force, according to court documents reviewed by the National Enquirer.
In August, an undercover agent connected with Selencia, 27, who agreed to sell him psilocybin mushrooms. During their meeting, Selencia allegedly told the agent that he was planning to go out of state to Oregon and Colorado to obtain more drugs for distribution.
Agents then began conducting extensive surveillance of Selencia, stopping several cars that were suspected customers of his alleged drug ring. They observed him going to multiple homes in his Honda Civic as well as multiple people coming to and leaving his home. It was later discovered that Selencia would give some of his customers loyalty cards he’d had printed up with the branding “flowerdaddy” on them.
After collecting evidence on his alleged operation, the undercover agent agreed to pay Selencia for two pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and one pound of marijuana flower. However, he was arrested before the sale was made. Police then executed warrants on Selencia’s home, his car and a residence they believed he was using for illegal activities. According to the court documents, a significant amount of drugs was found at all three locations.
In total, law enforcement says it seized 5,151.62 grams of THC concentrate, 6,092.11 grams of marijuana flower and 1,438.1 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
A pistol was found at one location. Because Selencia had a visa to stay in the United States that expired in 2022, he is considered to be unlawfully staying in the country and therefore cannot have a firearm.
A court date for Selencia has not yet been made available.
