A day after comedian Druski seemingly poked fun at Erika Kirk in a viral skit that now has 6.5 million likes on Instagram, rumors began to circulate that the Turning Point USA CEO hit the social media star with a cease-and-desist letter. But is it true?
The chatter stemmed from a now-deleted post by journalist Zellie Imani, which claimed that Kirk, 37, was “gearing up to sue” 31-year-old Druski (real name Drew Desbordes). To get to the bottom of the claim, Newsweek reached out to Druski, and a representative for the comedian responded. “Any claim that a cease and desist was issued to Druski is absolutely false,” reads a statement provided to the outlet.

Although Druski is not facing any legal issues as a result of his parody video—which includes him dressing up as a white woman with blonde hair, but does not name Kirk or Turning Point USA—he did receive plenty of strong reactions on social media, both positive and negative.

“This deserves an Oscar!!!!!!,” commented one Instagram user. “The fact that she’s going after druski harder than the guy who took out her husband is wild,” wrote another, referring to Kirk’s late husband, conservative talking head Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot while speaking at at Utah Valley University in September of 2025. Since his death, Erika has been criticized for seemingly not taking time to mourn. However, Druski’s critics are latching on to Charlie’s death as well, with one commenter writing, “You’re disgusting and emotionally void for doing this. displaying exactly what you are, nothing but a clown! Hope you feel better about yourself making fun of a widow, whose husband was murdered in front of the world. Smh.”
