Dave Grohl’s Wife Has a ‘List of Conditions’ Following Love Child Drama: Rocker Is Still ‘on Thin Ice’

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl shocked both his family and fans when he announced last year that he welcomed a daughter outside of his marriage.

Despite the scandal, the 56-year-old’s wife, Jordyn Blum, has been staying by his side — and reportedly has a list of rules if he wants to stay married.

A source told the Daily Mail on October 23 that the couple did couples therapy for six months and the sessions have “helped them to get to the good place they’re at now.”

“Jordyn was shocked and publicly embarrassed when she found out about his cheating,” the insider said. “But despite most of her friends advising her to divorce Dave, she decided not to do anything rash.”

Another source explained that when the rocker’s infidelity surfaced, he and Blum, 49, almost separated.

In order to stay together, Blum “gave [him] a whole list of conditions.”

“She now has his location on her phone. She knows where he is and what he’s doing. She can look at his phone at any time,” the source said. “But it goes both ways, she shares her location as well. They keep tabs on each other.”

“Dave started keeping more normal hours,” the source explained to the outlet. “Spending the night at home rather than on the road. He knows that she can – and has – surprised him with visits when he’s traveling.”

Still, “It’s a very short leash,” the source added. “The boundaries have not loosened up – he’s still very much on thin ice.”

Grohl and Blum have been married since 2003, and share daughters Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and Ophelia, 11.

The musician revealed in September 2024 that he was the father of a daughter who he shares with a woman named Jennifer Young.
