More information has come out about the recent town hall in which billionaire Bill Gates confessed to having two affairs during his marriage to now ex-wifeMelinda French Gates.
According to a report by People, during the town hall with employees of the Gates Foundation on February 24, Bill addressed mounting questions about his past conduct, as well as his previous relationship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
A spokesman for Bill insisted to the outlet that he “spoke candidly, addressing several questions in detail, and took responsibility for his actions” at the meeting.

The issue resurfaced following the release of Justice Department documents that included years-old emails in which Epstein allegedly claimed Bill contracted a sexually transmitted infection from “Russian girls” and sought help concealing it from his then-wife. A spokesperson for Bill has denied those allegations.
However, according to People, 70-year-old Bill admitted to being unfaithful to Melinda, 61, with a “Russian bridge player who met me at bridge events and one with a Russian nuclear physicist who I met through business activities.”
The Russian bridge player is widely reported to be Mila Antonova, who was identified by The Wall Street Journal in 2023 as having met Bill around 2010. She did not comment publicly at the time.
Separately, Microsoft investigated a 2019 claim that Bill attempted to initiate an intimate relationship with an employee in 2000, per CNN. Bill stepped down from Microsoft’s board in 2020.

As the National Enquirer previously reported, during the town hall Bill also expressed regret over his association with Epstein, calling it “a huge mistake to spend time with Epstein.”
“I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit,” Bill said in a recording obtained by the Wall Street Journal.
Bill further stated he never spent time with victims connected to the disgraced financier.
