Andy Cohen Is ‘Terrified’ to Make Peace With Kathy Griffin: ‘He Can’t Control Her’ (Exclusive)

After years of feuding, Kathy Griffin is ready to forgive Andy Cohen — but the Watch What Happens Live host wants nothing to do with her.

Sources tell Straight Shuter that Griffin, 65, who once accused Cohen of “deep toxicity” after he replaced her on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live special in 2017, is surprisingly open to reconciliation. “Kathy’s grown a lot since the fallout,” says a close insider. “She’d even appear on Andy’s show if he asked. She’s not holding a grudge anymore — she’s ready to move forward.”

But insiders say Cohen, 57, isn’t ready to face her — or what might come out if he does.

“Andy’s terrified,” a Bravo source admits. “He knows if Kathy’s on his set, she’ll speak her truth. It would be incredible television — ratings gold — but he can’t control her, and that’s what scares him.”

The two, once friends in the Bravo clubhouse circuit, haven’t spoken since their explosive split years ago. “It’s personal now,” says another source. “Andy’s image is carefully curated, and Kathy knows too much.”

For Griffin, forgiveness is part of her healing journey. For Cohen, it’s a potential PR nightmare. “He’d rather keep his distance than risk being exposed on live TV,” whispers a network insider.

As one TV exec put it: “If they ever reunited on camera, it’d be the most-watched episode in WWHL history — and the last one Andy ever hosted.”
