U.S. Marshalls Locate Man Hiding Under a Child’s Bed in Washington

A chucklehead thought he’d evade justice by crawling under a kid’s bed!

But U.S. Marshals easily found the “fugitive” in a residence associated with him in Spokane, Wash, according to NBC News.

Keantray Davon Bryant-Muellner was arrested Jan. 16 for allegedly violating the terms of his graduated re-entry probation sentence.

According to authorities, the dope was discovered “attempting to conceal himself while hiding under a child’s bed.”

The U.S. Marshals instructed him to “exit,” and he “peacefully surrendered to law enforcement without incident,” they said in a press release.

But the action before that wasn’t without incident!

Marshals were forced to make “multiple law enforcement announcements” before they managed to get inside the house — and only after they removed a sliding glass door!

Two other adults in the home who had been “uninvolved” exited the home while marshals searched for Bryant-Muellner.

After his arrest, a probation search of the residence was conducted by the Washington State Department of Corrections’ Community Response Unit.

According to the press release, a “handgun and high-capacity magazines” were recovered. It’s unclear whether the items belonged to Bryant-Muellner.

He was put on probation after an April 2024 arrest in which he faced multiple charges, including first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and escape from community custody under the Washington State Department of Corrections, the release said.

“With gun violence continuing to plague Spokane, every violent offender arrested and every firearm taken off the street makes our communities safer,” said U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Washington Craig Thayer.
