Tom Cruise ‘Can’t Wrap His Head Around The Idea’ That Ana De Armas Didn’t Want Him (Exclusive)
Tom Cruise has gone into a “meltdown” over his recent split from Ana de Armas, a source tells the National Enquirer.
“Tom’s telling people Ana wasn’t up to his standards and he’s the one who pulled the plug,” explains the source.
The Top Gun: Maverick star, 63, was first linked to the Ballerina actress, 37, in February.
Now, Cruise “says he’s looking for someone with more charisma and life experience,” adds the source.
“It’s a complete 180 in terms of how he was talking about her just a few weeks ago,” says the source, “when she could do no wrong and this ultimate dream gal who walked on water.”
“Truth is, Tom didn’t see this coming and he can’t wrap his head around the idea that Ana didn’t want him as a life partner,” adds the source.
As Enquirer previously reported, the Mission: Impossible star had been planning a proposal not long before the relationship ended, which “humiliated” him, an insider said. “He’s having to face his big fear that he’s somehow undatable.”
