Pop princess Taylor Swift’s perfectly curated world has been badly shaken by the grisly discovery of human remains near her Rhode Island holiday retreat.

A human leg bone recently washed up on the beach in the Watch Hill neighborhood of Westerly, reportedly within vantage point of Taylor’s oceanfront mansion, giving the “Cruel Summer” singer the creeps.

“Taylor is absolutely horrified — the whole thing has totally freaked her out,” says an insider.

“This is supposed to be her safe, happy place, where she has welcomed her A-list circle of friends, such as Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid. Now she can’t help feeling like it’s tainted.”

“To have something this dark and disturbing happen so close to her vacation house gives her the heebie-jeebies.”

The remains were discovered in May and have since been identified as those of Massachusetts resident Eric Wein, 31.

“The South Kingstown Police Department has been notified by the Rhode Island Office of the State Medical Examiners that the human remains that washed ashore on May 14, 2025, in Westerly, Rhode Island, have been positively identified as belonging to Mr. Eric Wein,” police said in a statement.

Wein’s vehicle was found parked in South Kingstown, R.I., on April 10, and he was officially declared missing April 18.

According to our insider, Taylor is worried the victim may have been murdered in cold blood: “She has a very active imagination and so of course she’s imagining the absolute worst, that there could be some sort of serial killer on the loose!”

As readers know, the hitmaker has had more than her share of stalkers ever since the release of her first hit song, “Tim McGraw”, in 2006. And an insider says she feels this gruesome event just draws more unwanted attention to her.

The National ENQUIRER has learned that the songbird is going above and beyond to protect herself — and seriously thinking about selling the property, which she bought for $17.75 million in 2013.

“She’s sensitive to energy and she’s now saying the whole place has bad vibes,” says the insider. “No amount of comfort or beauty is going to erase that human remains washed up practically on her doorstep. It’s left her feeling really unsettled.”

Adds the source, “She’s heartbroken for the poor guy who died, whatever the circumstances, but she can’t help feeling anxious for her own safety.”
