Emmy Award-winning journalist and women’s health advocate Tamsen Fadal’s new book, “How To Menopause: Take Charge of Your Health, Reclaim Your Life, and Feel Even Better Than Before,” hits shelves on March 25.

As menopause becomes a pressing topic for the estimated 1.1 billion women expected to be experiencing it by 2025, Fadals timely release offers a much-needed resource for navigating this stage of life.

Fadal’s book combines her investigative journalism skills, personal experiences with menopause, and a team of experts to provide a comprehensive guide for women. The book is described by New York Times bestselling author Lisa Mosconi, PhD, as “more than just advice — it provides a lifeline.”

“How To Menopause” is designed not only to inform but also to empower women to take control of their health during menopause, a transition Fadal personally grappled with during a challenging on-air moment when she was beset by heart palpitations, brain fog, and symptoms she later learned were part of a hot flash. She was unable to finish the newscast, but after she went to the doctor, she was left with more questions than answers.

By doing her own research, she found the answers she needed to embrace the change and emerge better, stronger, and more fulfilled — and now she’s sharing what she learned.

Offering perspectives from neuroscientists and menopause-certified physicians, the book equips readers with science-backed strategies to tackle common symptoms and more nuanced topics, such as navigating workplace challenges and maintaining intimacy in relationships.

“How To Menopause” aims to transform how menopause is perceived and discussed, with an emphasis on embracing a healthier and more fulfilling life beyond menopause.

“Together, we can embrace a stronger, sexier self at every stage of midlife — from perimenopause through menopause and into our ‘bolden’ years,” Fadal says.

Fadal, who has shifted her career focus toward advocacy, has also produced the documentary “The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause,” which has broadened the discussion on menopause globally. Her new book represents the culmination of her efforts to support women during this critical phase of life.
