Jeffrey Epstein shared a close, familial relationship with Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson — as well as their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, newly leaked emails suggest.
In emails to the late convicted pedophile released by the Justice Department on Friday, January 30, the former Duchess of York, 66, allegedly discussed the princesses multiple times.
On July 22, 2009, Epstein was released from a 13-month prison stint but remained under house arrest, following a guilty plea for procuring for prostitution a girl below age 18. Days later, his longtime assistant, Lesley Groff, arranged for Ferguson and the princesses to fly to Miami, while he exchanged emails with Ferguson about meeting her for lunch in Miami on July 27.
“It will be myself, Beatrice and Eugenie,” the former royal allegedly wrote.
A week later, she referenced their lunch in another email. “I have never been more touched by a friends kindness than your compliment to me infront of my girls,” Ferguson appeared to write. “Thank you Jeffrey for being the brother I have always wished for.”
In February 2010, an assistant emailed an invitation on Fergie’s behalf. “Beatrice, Eugenie and I would love to invite you to celebrate the 50 years of Papa/Andrew,” the children’s book author wrote. “It will be suits and cocktail dresses, and you know me, mysterious mischief, so bring your presents, your presence and your humour!”
In March 2010, Epstein wrote “ny?” in an email. In her response, Ferguson referenced her then 19-year-old daughter’s sex life.
“Not sure yet,” she allegedly wrote. “Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!”

That July, Epstein wrote again, noting that Celina — seemingly referring to Celina Dubin, the 15-year-old daughter of his financier friend Peter Dubin — would be in London. (In a 2009 email, Ferguson boasted that she first helped arrange for Celina to meet Andrew and Beatrice, and Epstein thanked her, telling her he was “thrilled.”)
“Any chance of your daughters saying hello,” he wrote.
“Beatrice is in London with her father,” Ferguson wrote back, adding that Eugenie “is away with a cool boyfriend.”
By 2011, Ferguson seemed to have been doing damage control with Epstein over a March 2011 interview with the Evening Standard in which she called their friendship a “gigantic error of judgment” and pointedly said, “I abhor paedophilia and any sexual abuse of children.”
In April 2011, she was backtracking to Epstein. “Beatrice and I had a discussion and we agreed it was important to call [journalist Georgie Greig] back and make sure he understood the severity of NOT making a mistake and getting it wrong about Jeffrey, because he was sent to prison for sexual offending, but that he had done his penence [sic] and was out of jail and moving on with his life,” she wrote.
Her interview had stirred up controversy, Fergie acknowledged, “Allegedly because I said Jeffrey was a P. And I did NOT. I would NOT.”
“Although I had to protect my own brand…which is all in children work, I certainly would not want to hurt Jeffrey anymore, by saying such an untruth.”

The leaked emails also show that her ex, the former prince Andrew, may have sent photos of his daughters to Epstein in 2011 and 2012, even though he’s claimed he cut ties with his friend in 2010.
The Daily Mail reported that Eugenie and Beatrice had known Epstein since at least April 1998, when they met in the Bahamas, according to the late sex offender’s flight logs. They were 9 and 10 at the time.
