President Donald Trump is getting roasted online after Iran’s embassy in Kenya mocked him with a sarcastic jab involving first lady Melania Trump.
The diplomatic shade came after Donald claimed he was just “an hour away” from launching fresh military strikes against Iran before ultimately deciding to hold off.
“Trump was gonna strike Iran tomorrow … but news say Melania has a nail appointment and he’s gotta drop her off at the salon first,” the Iranian embassy in Kenya posted via X on Tuesday, May 20. “Priorities, folks. The free world hangs by a manicure.”
The savage swipe quickly exploded online as critics and supporters alike reacted to the unexpected dig aimed at the president, 79, and first lady, 56.
Earlier that day, Donald told reporters at the White House that he had nearly approved military action against Iran amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

“I had made the decision,” Donald said per Fox 9 Minneapolis. “We were all set to go.”
The commander in chief later took to Truth Social to explain that several Middle Eastern leaders urged him to delay the operation while negotiations continued, claiming “serious negotiations” were underway regarding Iran.
Meanwhile, as National Enquirer previously reported, a new poll shows Americans are none too happy over Donald amid soaring gas and grocery prices.
A New York Times/Siena poll conducted on May 11-15 and published on Monday, May 18, reported that only 37 percent of Americans approve of his job performance as president in his second term.
