President Donald Trump’s Son Eric Trump Reportedly Disappears From Fintech Company’s Leadership
Eric Trump appears to have been quietly removed from the leadership of a financial technology company tied to the Trump family’s cryptocurrency firm, World Liberty Financial Inc., according to reports.
Alt5 — a company that provides “infrastructure that enables banks, fintechs, and institutions to trade, transact, and settle digital assets with confidence” — said in a prior company update that President Donald Trump’s son joined “as a Board member, broadening ALT5’s access to new networks and markets.”
However, Bloomberg reported on Thursday, April 30, that the 42-year-old’s name was removed from the leadership page of its website.
According to the news organization, Eric’s name was listed on the company’s site as recently as March.
The Daily Beast said that a World Liberty spokesman did not address Eric’s status at Alt5, but called the father of two “a highly visible and active co-founder at World Liberty Financial.”
Bloomberg reported that Eric’s position at the fintech company has changed in the past.
Eric appears to have made no mention of the recent reports on his social media accounts. On Instagram, the businessman and political activist posted photos on Thursday from a bitcoin conference, writing: “Thank you Bitcoin2026 Las Vegas! What an incredible room!”
“Now off to the 2026 PGA Cadillac Championship,” he added.
Per Bloomberg, Alt5 lost more than $341 million in its most recent fiscal year.
The company reportedly warned investors in an annual filing that management doubted the company’s ability to stay afloat another year.
