Jimmy McMahan, an influencer and rapper known online as Whyte Folkz, has died after a fatal motorcycle accident. He was 50.
According to a report from WREG on Tuesday, January 20, McMahan was killed in a crash on Monday at an intersection in Millington, Tennessee, a small town just outside of Memphis. Police told the outlet that McMahan allegedly lost control of his motorcycle and struck two parked vehicles.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the City of Millington confirmed that McMahan was the only victim involved in the crash. His identity was later confirmed by his manager.
A GoFundMe was created in an effort to help McMahan’s family with funeral costs.
“Tonight, January 19, 2026, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My brother, Whitefolkz, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident,” the fundraiser’s page read. “He was taken from us far too soon, and our hearts are broken. Whitefolkz was more than a brother — he was a son, a friend, and a light to everyone who knew him.”

The message continued, “His laughter, loyalty, and love will never be forgotten. He lived with passion and left a lasting impression on all our lives.”
McMahan had amassed a large following on social media under the name Whyte Folkz, with more than 120,000 followers on Instagram. He regularly shared funny videos and posts documenting his daily life, along with music content.
