Paris Jackson is no longer a bride-to-be as she and fiancé Justin Long have called it quits.

The musician, 27, took to X on Thursday, July 31, writing, “those are breakup tears. y’all are fkn reaching again.”

The American Horror Stories actress — who did not provide a reason for their breakup — was seemingly referring to photos published by the Daily Mail last week, which showed her visibly in tears as she took a walk around Malibu, just weeks after the anniversary of her father Michael Jackson’s death.

Paris and the music producer had been dating since 2022, and announced their engagement in December 2024.

“Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with,” she wrote via Instagram in a since deleted post. “Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”

In March, Paris spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her engagement.

“It’s terrifying, it’s a big leap, you know, it’s exciting, and it’s thrilling, and it’s a big step, and I know that I’m making the right choice, which is a good feeling,” she remarked.

In regards to wedding planning, Paris said it was going great at the time.

“I just picked a wedding planner, he’s super nice. His name’s Mark Seed. He’s absolutely wonderful,” she gushed. “We’re working on venues and dresses.”

The model also discussed her engagement ring with the outlet.

“We designed it together, Jean Dousset, who’s the great-grandson of Cartier,” she explained. “I really like sustainability, I’m big into activism, things like that — doing sustainability and eco-friendly stuff — seven is my lucky number, so that was incorporated into it. There’s a lot of little details in there.”

A source previously told the Enquirer that Paris wanted to “honor” her late father at her wedding and would most likely feature pictures of the King of Pop at both the ceremony and reception.

“She will have something sentimental of his with her when she walks down the aisle,” the source revealed. “He will be very much on her mind.”

The source also noted that Jackson was “doing her best to keep his memory alive.”

“She listens to his music, lights candles and talks to him,” the insider shared. “She believes his spirit is with her and protecting her.”
