Even Hollywood heartthrobs aren’t immune to Nicole Kidman’s biggest pet peeve: bad breath.
The Oscar winner, 58, recently revealed she was less than thrilled filming a kissing scene with Alexander Skarsgård while shooting HBO’s hit drama Big Little Lies.
The reason? A falafel sandwich.
Speaking on the Wednesday, March 11, episode of the Las Culturistas podcast, Kidman admitted that unpleasant breath is an absolute deal-breaker for her — even if the person is “the most gorgeous guy.”
“I cannot stand bad breath,” Kidman confessed. “You could be the most gorgeous, gorgeous guy, but if you came at me with bad breath, I’m like, no. Yikes, I’m out.”

The actress recalled one moment on set that nearly ruined the mood while filming romantic scenes with Skarsgård, 49, who played her abusive husband Perry Wright on the Emmy-winning series.
“When Alexander Skarsgård ate a falafel sandwich before we did the scenes, I was like, ‘No, no, no, Alex,’” Kidman said with a laugh. “‘I’m meant to be kissing you and into you. Put away the falafel now.’”
The moment prompted Kidman to lay down even more laws for her hunky costar.
“I said, ‘No more falafel. Not before you kiss, not before you make love,’” she joked.
