Megyn Kelly Blasts Ellen DeGeneres for Supporting ICE Protesters After Moving to UK: ‘She Was a Bully’

Megyn Kelly is calling out Ellen DeGeneres for weighing in on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement protests taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On the Monday, January 19 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the political commentator, 55, heavily criticized the former daytime talk show host, 67, for sharing her thoughts on the matter after moving out of the country.

“Ellen DeGeneres felt the need to weigh in, and I know you, like I, have been asking yourself — what, what would Ellen think of all this?” Kelly sarcastically remarked. “She’s abandoned the United States to go live in the UK, but it’s still really important to all of us what she thinks. And so I have an answer for you today, and here it is…”

The media personality then played part of the video DeGeneres posted on Instagram on Sunday, January 18, in which the comedian said she was “proud of everyone protesting peacefully” and “sorry for anyone who’s been hurt just for protesting.”

Kelly went on to bring up the 2020 allegations made by former employees of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that alleged the Emmy Award winner created a toxic workplace.

“Let’s not forget why Ellen lost her daytime show. It’s because she was a bully. She bullied people who were less powerful than she was,” Kelly claimed. “She had a rule — I’m very reliably informed — you were not allowed to look her in the eye as one of her producers when you walked past her in the hallway.”

“And so it’s no surprise that Ellen DeGeneres is totally fine with what these so-called protesters, terrorists are doing in the streets of Minneapolis. It’s no surprise whatsoever,” Kelly added. “And when she says, I’m very sorry for any protesters getting hurt, she, of course, is talking about Renee Good.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, on Wednesday, January 7, Good — a mother of three — was shot and killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis amid an ongoing operation in the city. While federal officials claim the shooting was justified, others, including the Mayor of Minneapolis, disagree.

“And I’m sure, just like most leftists, she’s been fed the same lies we’ve heard from CNN now from the beginning, and she’s chosen to believe them because she’s ignorant, and it’s willful, it’s not blind ignorance, it’s willful ignorance,” Kelly further noted. “It suits her ideological purposes. Shame on her. Enjoy England.”

“‘I’m sorry that our friends across the pond are stuck with Ellen, but let’s face it, they gave us [Prince] Harry and Meghan [Markle], so they deserve it,” Kelly added.
