Mar-a-Lago Members Threatened With Ban Over Illicit Barron Trump Photos: ‘Privacy is Non-Negotiable’

The Mar-a-Lago Club reportedly requires a $1 million initiation fee, but members can still be kicked out if they don’t follow the rules — as some learned when they took photos of President Donald Trump’s son Barron, 19, over Christmas.

First lady Melania Trump “made it very clear that Barron’s privacy is non-negotiable,” a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, published on Thursday, January 1. “Anyone caught filming or taking pictures would face immediate consequences, including potential banning from the club.”

Recently, Barron, who has been largely absent from public view throughout 2025 after leaving New York University’s main campus in the city, “was solemnly following his father through the dining room,” an insider revealed to Shuter. “He was quiet, very reserved, wearing his usual blue suit, almost mirroring Donald.”

“He didn’t smile or interact much,” a witness added.

And he certainly didn’t pose for pictures. When staff at the private West Palm Beach, Florida, organization learned of the illicit snaps, warnings were quickly issued.  “The message was clear: no cameras, no leaks,” another source added. “Private family moments stay private.”
