Lisa Rinna has spoken out against fellow reality star Spencer Pratt‘s unexpected Los Angeles mayoral campaign — and now insiders tell Straight Shuter the RHOBH alum has cut ties with producer pal David Foster and his wife, Katharine McPhee, due to their support of The Hills pot-stirrer. The couple held a fundraiser for Pratt, 42, at their home in May.
“The moment David and Katharine began publicly embracing Spencer, she emotionally checked out,” an insider says.
According to sources, Rinna has become increasingly uncompromising when it comes to friendships and politics.
“She doesn’t do dramatic confrontations anymore,” another insider explains. “If Lisa feels your values no longer align with hers, she simply removes you from her life. Fast.”
The former reality star ended up finishing third in the primary election, leaving incumbent Karen Bass and city councilwoman Nithya Raman to face off in November.
